MySpellings is a spelling practice app for children. It is designed to help with spelling practice using year group word packs, custom spelling lists, simple practice modes, and child-friendly feedback.

Information we collect

MySpellings does not collect personal information from users.

The app does not ask children or parents to create an account, log in, provide a name, email address, location, date of birth, school name, or any other personal details.

Adverts and tracking

MySpellings does not show third-party adverts.

MySpellings does not use third-party tracking tools, behavioural advertising, analytics trackers, advertising identifiers, or profiling tools.

Local app data

MySpellings may save spelling progress, stars, rewards, settings, custom word lists, favourites, and similar app information locally on the user's device.

This information is stored on the device only. It is not sent to us, uploaded to a server, or shared with third parties.

Because this information is stored locally, deleting the app, clearing app data, resetting the device, or moving to a new device may remove saved progress, settings, custom lists, and rewards.

Custom spelling lists

Parents, carers, or users may create their own spelling lists inside the app. These lists are stored locally on the device and are not collected by us.

Offline use

MySpellings is designed to work offline. An internet connection is not required for the main spelling practice features.

Permissions and device features

MySpellings may use device features such as text-to-speech to speak spelling words aloud. This is used only to provide the spelling practice experience.

MySpellings does not use device permissions to collect personal information, track users, access location, access contacts, access photos, record audio, or identify the user.

In-app purchases

MySpellings may offer optional paid features or upgrades through Google Play. Purchases are processed by Google Play, not directly by us.

We do not receive or store users' payment card details. Google Play may process purchase information in accordance with Google's own privacy policy and payment terms.

Children's privacy

MySpellings is designed for children, but it does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

The app is intended to be used with the support or supervision of a parent, carer, teacher, or responsible adult where appropriate.

Data sharing

We do not sell, rent, trade, or share personal data with third parties because the app does not collect personal data.
